MSOE rowing wins lightweight 4+ race at Head of the Rock Regatta

The MSOE rowing squad won the lightweight 4+ race at the Head of the Rock Regatta in Rockford, Ill. Sunday. The Raiders' time for the race was 16:32.17. This boat included junior coxwain Rachel Connon, junior stroke seat Zach Parsons, sophomore three seat Ben Lang, junior two seat Luke Engebretson and junior bow seat Mike Cerny. MSOE's other boat in the race finished tenth.
The Raiders came in seventh place in both the collegiate 4+ and the collegiate 8+ races. MSOE will compete next in the Head of the Eagle Regatta in Indianapolis Saturday, Oct. 30.
