Rate, Koziczkowski and Boesiger place in top 15 at Gene Davis Invitational

Senior Cameron Rate, freshman Trevor Koziczkowski and freshman Larissa Boesiger each finished in the top 15 at the Gene Davis Invitational Saturday morning in Appleton, Wis. On the men's side, Rate placed 11th with a time of 27:35 while Koziczkowski finished 14th at 27:56. Senior Matt Jungers (28:44) was 22nd, sophomore Jake Schneider (28:55) placed 24th and senior Keen Unangst (28:58) came in 25th. The Raiders placed fourth out of five teams.
Boesiger ran a time of 22:34 to place 15th in the women's race. Senior Erin Haefs (23:20) was 21st while Tanzania Sewell (23:37) was 23rd. Junior Anna Salzwede (24:46) finished 27th and senior Emily Schmeling (24:58) placed 28th. MSOE placed fifth on the women's side.
The Raiders will compete in the Private Schools Invitational Saturday, Oct. 16 in Green Bay, Wis.
