Axt's four goals lead MSOE women's soccer to blowout victory

Junior Jessica Axt scored four goals as the Raiders shut out Concordia-Chicago 10-0 Saturday afternoon in River Forest, Ill. Freshman Paul Bohl logged two goals to increase her season total to 21 which breaks Axt's MSOE record for goals in a single season.
Axt scored two goals in each half and now has 15 on the season and 47 for her career. Also scoring for the Raiders was juniors Melanie Monreal, Jamie Janczak, Mary Roath and freshman Jenna Harvestine. Senior Colleen Krechel had two assists while Bohl, Janczak, Axt and senior Heidi Brehmer each recorded one assist. Sophomore Emma Lumpe and senior Erin VandenLangenberg each played a half in goal for MSOE.
The Raiders (10-5-1, 8-1-1 NAC) face Edgewood Tuesday night in Madison, Wis. at 7 p.m.
