Rate finishes 9th, MSOE men's cross country places 5th at NAC Championship

Senior Cameron Rate led the way for the Raiders at Saturday morning's NAC Championship in West Allis, Wis. Rate finished ninth overall with a time of 27:38.0 in the 8K race. He was named All-NAC for his performance and was also selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team. The men's squad placed fifth as a team. Freshman Trevor Koziczkowski came in 16th at 28:21.5. Koziczkowski received Honorable Mention status for his finish.
Junior Matthew Coursey had a time of 29:11.5 to place 29th and freshman Steven Grousnik and junior Michael Olk were right behind Coursey in 30th and 31st. Sophomore Jake Schneider finished 39th while junior Joe Kolavo came in 46th.
Concordia-Wisconsin won the event with Falcons senior Andy Ashenden finishing in first place.
