Keizer, Toomey garner MCHA weekly awards

Sophomore Jordan Keizer and junior goalie Connor Toomey earned MCHA weekly honors for their performance during the Raiders' sweep of Marian this past weekend. MSOE is now ranked 15th in the USCHO.com Division III poll.

Keizer was named MCHA Player of the Week after a hat trick during MSOE's Saturday night 4-2 victory against the Sabres at the Kern Center. He scored the game-winner in that game and the final tally. Sunday against Marian, Keizer assisted on the Raiders' first goal in the 2-1 win.

Toomey was picked as MCHA Defensive Player of the Week as he recorded two wins against the Sabres. He held Marian to three goals (1.50 GAA) over the weekend with a .944 save percentage. Toomey did not allow a power play goal in the games as the Sabres were 0-7 with an advantage. This is the second time this season that Toomey has garnered weekly MCHA honors.

MSOE will face St. Mary's on Friday, Dec. 3 at 7:05 p.m. at the Kern Center.
