MSOE women's basketball clipped by Carroll

Sophomore forward Heather Miller led the Raiders with 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a 68-64 loss to Carroll Tuesday night in Waukesha, Wis. Junior center Carol Cayo scored 17 points and pulled down nine rebounds.
MSOE went on a 20-6 run in the second half to pull within one with 52 seconds left but couldn't get any closer. The Raiders shot 60.9% from the field in the second half. Sophomore guard/forward Cate Scholfield put in ten points for the Raiders and junior guard Marguerite Wellstein had nine points.
The Raiders (4-4) face the University of Chicago Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Kern Center.
