Maroons get past MSOE women's basketball

Junior guard Kathleen Collingbourne scored a career-high 18 points but the Raiders dropped a nonconference game against the University of Chicago 76-62 at the Kern Center Thursday night. Collingbourne knocked down five three-pointers in the game. Junior center Carol Cayo had 15 points.
Both putting in nine points for MSOE were junior guard Marguerite Wellstein and freshman forward Shannon Larson who also pulled down ten rebounds. Sophomore forward Heather Miller scored eight points. The Raiders outrebounded the Maroons 29-27.
MSOE (4-5) faces No. 9 UW-Stevens Point on the road Sunday at 2 p.m.
