Thompson named MCHA Freshman of the Week

For the second time this season, defenseman Michael Thompson has been named MCHA Freshman of the Week. Thompson scored in MSOE's 2-2 tie against then No. 8 Adrian Saturday in Michigan. Thompson leads all Raider defensemen with five goals and 11 points.
The Raiders are tied at the top of the MCHA with the Bulldogs as both have an 8-1-1 conference record. MSOE is now no. 11 in the USCHO.com Division III Men's Poll. It's the eighth straight week the Raiders have been ranked in the national poll.
MSOE faces Finlandia this Friday and Saturday in Hancock, Mich.
