MSOE women's basketball gets NAC road victory against Concordia-Chicago

Behind the ninth double-double of the year from junior center Carol Cayo, the Raiders beat Concordia-Chicago 55-47 Wednesday night in River Forest, Ill. Cayo scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for her fourth career double-double against the Cougars. Cayo also blocked four shots and had three assists.
Sophomore forward Heather Miller scored 11 of her 13 points in the first half for MSOE. Sophomore forward Cate Scholfield had nine points while junior guard Marguerite Wellstein put in eight points. Wellstein also pulled down seven rebounds.
The Raiders (7-9, 4-5 NAC) battle for the "Red Rivalry Cup" Saturday night against Alverno on the road in Milwaukee.
