Senior Kevin Diederich (above) and sophomore Jordan Werner will compete in this weekend's NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship at the Capital Center Fieldhouse in Columbus, Ohio and you can follow his progress without leaving your computer.
Go to http://www.ncaa.com/liveschedule/ and follow Diederich and Werner at the nationals, starting at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Diederich qualified in the pentathlon. That event will take place at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Diederich first posted a provisional qualifying mark at the Pointer Invitational in February with 3440 points. Diederich bested that score last weekend at the Karl Schlender Last Chance event in Whitewater, Wis. with 3526 points to give himself the ninth best score nationally in that event this season.
Werner will compete in the 55-meter dash as he ran the event in 6.43 seconds at the NAC Championship. His original NCAA provisional time was 6.46 seconds at the Pointer Invitational. The prelims for the event will take place at 6:20 p.m. Friday with the finals being held at 5:05 p.m. Saturday.
