No. 9 MSOE hockey ties No. 8 Adrian in MCHA battle

The No. 9 Raiders got goals from freshman defenseman Michael Thompson and sophomore forward Jordan Keizer as they tied No. 8 Adrian 2-2 in Michigan Saturday afternoon. Junior goaltender Connor Toomey made 30 saves for MSOE. The two teams remain tied at the top of the MCHA.
Keizer's goal was set up by freshman defenseman Michael Schenfeld and sophomore forward Bradley Tierney at the 17:13 mark of the first period. Thompson put the Raiders up 2-1 early in the second period. His goal was assisted by freshman forward Ben Lauder.
MSOE (11-3-1, 8-1-1 MCHA) will face Finlandia in Hancock, Mich. next weekend for a couple of conference games.
