Montenegro earns NAC honor

MSOE junior Juan Montenegro was named NAC Student-Athlete of the Week for men's tennis as he went 6-0 during the past week. Montenegro swept Tom Kuehl of Lakeland by the scores of 6-0, 6-0 last Wednesday. He also won at No. 1 doubles against the Muskies.
Against Aurora, he beat Brett Wilder 6-0, 6-2 and won at No. 1 doubles 8-1. Last Saturday, Montenegro defeated Matt Saelens of Rockford 6-1, 6-0 and finished his perfect week with a victory at No. 1 doubles by the score of 8-1.
The Raiders face Wisconsin Lutheran Wednesdasy, April 27 in New Berlin, Wis.
