MSOE wrestling splits duals at Wabash

The Raiders went 2-2 at the Max Servies Duals Saturday in Crawfordsville, Ind. MSOE beat UW-Platteville 33-14 and Muskingum 23-12. The Raiders were knocked off by Wabash 28-12 and Central 28-7. The event was hosted by Wabash.
Leading the way for MSOE on Saturday were senior Virgil Pope and junior Jake Narveson. Both Pope and Narveson went 4-0 on the day at 157 pounds and 141 pounds, respectively. Sophomore Joshua Wengerter (149), junior Bryce Howard (174) and sophomore Steven Nguyen (285) each won their matches against UW-Platteville and Muskingum.
Senior Dominick Deligio won against Wabash at the 133-pound weight class while senior Sam Deligio won at 125 against Muskingum. Senior Samuel Bramstedt (165) and sophomore Caleb Staub (184) each won their matches against UW-Platteville.
The Raiders (6-2 duals) take part in the prestigious Pete Willson Invitational next weekend in Wheaton, Ill.
