MSOE wrestling dominates Maranatha Baptist

The Raiders continued their strong performance in duals Thursday night as they picked up a 41-3 victory against Maranatha Baptist in Northern Wrestling Association action at the Kern Center.
Senior Sam Deligio won by technical fall against Phillip Hadley at the 133-pound weight class while senior Dominick Deligio pinned Aaron Downs at the 2:26 mark of the match at 141 pounds. Junior Jake Narveson defeated Rickey Warren by major decision 13-0 at the 149-pound weight class. At 157 pounds, senior Virgil Pope won via pin against Brian Perling at 2:28 into the match.
Freshman Marcus Rokosh pinned Eddie Harris at the 1:14 mark to win at 174 pounds. Sophomore Caleb Staub picked up another victory as he pinned Jesse Cajetle at 3:44 into the battle at the 184-pound weight class. Freshman Kyle Perea knocked off Mike Crane by major decision 11-3 at 197 pounds while freshman Andrew Dorman also won via major decision 22-8 at the 285-pound weight class.
MSOE (8-2 duals) heads to Mequon, Wis. Friday night to face Concordia-Wisconsin in another NWA dual.
