Werner earns NAC weekly honor

Sophomore Jordan Werner was named NAC Student-Athlete of the Week for his perforance at the Pointer Invitational in Stevens Point, Wis. this past Saturday. Werner brooke three MSOE records and set an NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the 55-meter dash. His time of 6.46 seconds won the event.
Werner placed third in the 200-meter dash with a mark of 22.53 seconds to also set a new school record. He was part of MSOE's 4X400-meter relay team which finished seventh with a time of 3:28.20 for another MSOE record.
The Raiders will take part in the GVSU Big Meet in Allendale, Mich. this weekend.
