Clarke bests MSOE men's volleyball in season opener

The Raiders fell to Clarke in MSOE's season opener in Dubuque, Iowa Friday night. Clarke won the match in four sets (35-33, 12-25, 18-25, 20-25). Junior Max Martin led the Raiders with 15 kills and hit .290 on the night. Martin also led the team with eight digs.
Senior Chris Reininger and junior John Buczynski each recorded seven kills. Sophomore John Cote and Buczynski both had six digs. Freshman Matt Morrone led MSOE with 29 assists in his first match as a Raider. MSOE hit .382 in their first set victory but couldn't match that during the rest of the match.
The Raiders (0-1) are back in action when they head to Chicago to face Loyola Wednesday night.
