Six different Raiders score as MSOE finishes weekend sweep of Concordia-Wisconsin

A balanced scoring attack led the MSOE hockey team past Concordia-Wisconsin 6-1 Saturday night at the Kern Center in Milwaukee. Sophomore West Bauman and freshman Cole Gibson both recorded three points on the night.
Junior Jordan Keizer started the scoring at the 19:32 mark of the first period with a missile that found the back of the net. The Falcons tied the score just 20 seconds later. In the second period, junior Mike Pao scored the game-winning goal while freshman Logan Bauman had his first goal as a Raider. After the first period, MSOE outscored Concordia-Wisconsin 5-0.
In the third period, freshman Josh Keizer logged his third goal of the season while Gibson and West Bauman each had their first. Senior Todd Krupa and junior Nathan Brunk each had two assists. Senior goalie Connor Toomey made 20 saves in his 44th career win which is one behind MSOE career leader Matt Burzon.
The Raiders (2-0, 2-0 MCHA) host Finlandia host Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5 in Milwaukee.
