Brian Geurts '93

MSOE Athletic Hall of Fame

As the premier "big man" of MSOE basketball players (1988-1992), Geurts' athletic skills and strong character made him one of the most accomplished basketball players in MSOE history.

His senior season, Geurts was voted NAIA All-American after leading the district in scoring and was ninth overall in the nation. He was voted District Player of the Year.

He ranks as MSOE's all-time rebounding leader. A three-time team captain and MVP, he was voted All-Conference for four years and earned Conference Player of the Year honors in 1992. He ranks in the top five scoring among all Wisconsin collegiate players.

His passionate approach to basketball was evident on a daily basis. In honor of the high standard he set, his jersey number has been retired.
