Brian Michalowski ’89

MSOE Athletic Hall of Fame

Michalowski, who played for MSOE basketball from 1983 to 1987, began his road to recognition in his freshman year. A non-starter, he still had an immediate impact when he entered the game, and was recognized with the Super Sub award. His drive and determination in the second season landed him an All-Conference Honorable Mention, as he led the team in assists and was the third-leading scorer. During his senior year, Michalowski led the team in scoring while still distributing the ball (he led the team in assists for the third-straight year) - the mark of a true team player.

Michalowski's prowess on the court proved worthy of a number of honors. He was named the team's Most Valuable Player and First Team All-Conference, and his 18.7 scoring average led the conference. He also was an All Wisconsin Independent Colleges Association selection.
