Jeff Bonnet

MSOE Athletic Hall of Fame

A four-time Lake Michigan Conference champion and an NCAA national championship contender, Jeff Bonnet was a dominant force in collegiate wrestling.  Bonnet shattered MSOE records, setting a school record for victories and he consistently broke previously held season and career records in takedowns and wins.  His freshman season, Bonnet proved to be an intimidating competitor, placing third in the NCAA tournament.  His senior year, he was one of two wrestlers to qualify for the NCAA Division III national championship, making him one of the first MSOE wrestlers to qualify for this event.

A team co-captain for four years, Bonnet was a leader of the team on the mat and also in the classroom.  For his superior academic and athletic achievement, he was selected Academic All-American for three years.  Bonnet's strong academic record was a factor in the team's national recognition for academic achievement.  His skill and ability as both a student-athlete and a leader helped the Raiders to three LMC team championships.

Jeff Bonnet's unprecedented career as an MSOE Raider stands as a model of discipline and success.  Bonnet's exceptional achievements firmly establish his place among the most accomplished athletes in MSOE athletics history.
