Jeffrey Brezovar '83

MSOE Athletic Hall of Fame

Calling Brezovar a legend is not hyperbole. On the basketball court, he led the nation in scoring (1982-1983), became the first Wisconsin collegiate player to score 1,000 points in a season, and was named an NAIA All-American, MSOE's first All-American.

A basketball player from 1979 to 1983, during his junior year, he led MSOE to an undefeated conference season. Brezovar's shooting accuracy proved worthy of a number of accolades. He was named All-Conference and All-District three times. His career scoring record ranks in the top five among all Wisconsin collegiate scorers. In 1994, Brezovar was inducted into the NAIA District 14 Hall of Fame. Brezovar's intensity and deadly jump shot have gone on to legendary status. He also played baseball at MSOE from 1980 to 1981.

A leader by example, Brezovar's daily approach to both athletics and academics left a lasting impression. He was once voted NAIA Academic All-American and twice given CoSIDA Academic All-American honors.
