MSOE Athletic Hall of Fame
A six-time champion and
multiple-category career leader, Nate Wilke's achievements establish him as one
of MSOE's most accomplished wrestlers. After only his sophomore season, Wilke
became the Raiders career leader in wins, pins, takedowns, reversals and near
falls. Determined to strengthen his reputation as a formidable opponent on the
mat, Wilke added escapes to his list of career leading statistics during his
senior season.
A co-captain for three consecutive years, Wilke's role as a team leader was a fundamental element in the Raiders first Lake Michigan Conference Team Championship in his senior season. His individual championship record boasts Lawrence Invitational champion his freshman year and Wisconsin Private College Tournament champion and Lake Michigan Conference champion his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
During his four seasons as a Raiders wrestler, Wilke's exceptional accomplishments and positive leadership style were major factors in the MSOE wrestling team's success and recognition on a national level.
