MSOE Athletic Hall of Fame
"Mens sana incorpore sano," which translates to "a sound mind in a sound body," is a philosophy that has been a guiding force behind the leadership of Pat Coffey, MSOE's vice president for student life and dean of students. Under Coffey's leadership, the Athletic Department has grown in breadth. MSOE's graduates not only excel in the classroom, but on the field, court, water, mat and ice. His vision has made him a true friend of athletics on the MSOE campus.
Coffey oversees a group of athletes, coaches and directors who know the value of teamwork and overcoming adversity, which are qualities that are honed everyday in practice and games. These qualities are sought after by industry giants, and demonstrated day after day by a mentor, leader and friend, Pat Coffey.
