Paul Sikorski '80

MSOE Athletic Hall of Fame

No other MSOE athlete has had such a dramatic effect in such a short time as Paul Sikorski. Playing in only two seasons, he led the baseball team to two conference championships and a combined record of 39-14. Success followed him as he moved from the outfield to the dugout as he coached the team to two more conference championships in the '86 and '87 seasons.

One of the most prolific outfielders in MSOE history, Sikorski was a two-time All-Conference selection and was voted All-District his senior year. During his senior season, he led the team in nearly every offensive category and was honored by his teammates by being named MVP. He was given national recognition for leading the NAIA in hits and triples and finishing in the top 10 nationally in batting average, stolen bases and runs batted in. His strong work ethic and overall leadership qualities ensured his success both as a coach and as a player.
