MSOE Athletic Hall of Fame
As the guiding force behind the men and women's cross
country teams from 1990 to 1999, Pinkowsky, coached 20 Lake Michigan Conference
First Team All-Conference selections. From 1995 to 1999 he also coached MSOE
track and field teams that produced five individual LMC conference champions,
three team LMC championships and five runners-up finishes. Pinkowsky also
earned LMC "Coach of the Year" honors for three consecutive years.
Pinkowsky's team accomplishments outside the LMC included one All-State Individual Champion, three All-State Private First Team selections, two NCAA All-Midwest Regional Selections and one NCAA National Championship qualifier.
In three seasons as coach of the women's indoor and outdoor track and field teams, Pinkowsky coached one All-State Individual Champion, two All-State runners up, five NCAA National Championship qualifiers and three NCAA All-Americans.
