Richard Pollex '90

MSOE Athletic Hall of Fame

During the MSOE golf team's championship seasons, no one player was more consistent that Rich Pollex. His commitment and love for the game was unmatched. His positive attitude and desire to be on the golf course left a lasting influence on the golf program. In his four years of playing golf at MSOE, Pollex led the Raiders to four Lake Michigan Conference titles.

Consistency was Pollex's forte, each of his four years, he led the team with the best overall average. Other significant accomplishments include being named All-Conference three times, and winning the individual conference championship in 1988. That same year, he was named to the All-District team. Pollex was honored by his teammates by being named MVP twice and the team's captain his senior year. His daily approach and commitment to the game of golf has not been matched by any other MSOE golfer.
