Steven “Zimmy” Zimmermann ’80

MSOE Athletic Hall of Fame

Few people can step onto a field and make an immediate impact like Steven "Zimmy" Zimmermann did for MSOE. Zimmy pitched for MSOE from 1977 to 1979, and was named WCIC All-Conference all three years. His work ethic and mound presence helped the baseball team secure three straight conference titles.

Zimmy was a fierce competitor on the mound as well as in the classroom, having graduated with honors. This pitcher was driven to win and had a desire to help those around him. He was a positive spirit who was a driving force in MSOE's successful baseball teams.
