            <description>Mequon, Wis.-- The MSOE Raiders men&#146;s cross country team placed third at the Wisconsin Private School Invitational held in Mequon, Wisconsin.
The Raiders score of 77 points placed them 18 points behind winner Ripon College (59) and 13 points behind Beloit (64) who placed second in the event. Concordia University-Wisconsin (91), ST. Norbert (122) and Wisconsin Lutheran (152) followed MSOE in the standings. 
Individually for the Raiders, Tim Carlson led the team with a time of 27:26, placing ninth among the field of 98 runners. Carlson was followed by teammates Zak Lutz (27:36, 11th), Jay Stasiak (27:45,13th) Ben Bichler (28:07,18th) and Robert Kester (28:36, 28).

Zach Sheils of Wisconsin Lutheran won the 8-kilometer event with a time of 26:01, followed closely by Jason Smith of Ripon (26:12) and Andy Ashenden (26:28) of Concordia-Wisconsin.</description>
