Coaches

Head Coach Adam Stikel

Head Coach Adam StikelHead coach Adam Stikel returns for his tenth season with the women's volleyball team. Stikel led the Raiders to their most successful season in the school's history with a 19-13 overall record.  He has even greater expectations for this year's program.

"Losing one player, and returning the rest of the lineup, I expect us to be very competitive this year in the Northern Athletics Conference," said Stikel. "We have a talented group of freshmen coming in and they should be a fun group to watch."

Not only a respected coach, Stikel has played volleyball for over 20 years, participating in many indoor and outdoor tournaments in the greater Milwaukee area.

Off the court, Stikel serves as director of the Southwest Volleyball Club and owns a custom uniform and apparel company, All Star Sportswear in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Stikel, his wife Lori and their son Adam reside in Oak Creek, Wis.

 

Assistant Coach
Paul Bierdemann

Paul Bierdemann has been an assistant coach at MSOE since 2005. Bierdemann, an avid volleyball player for 13 years, has been head coach of the Southwest Volleyball Club for five years. He also runs a weeklong clinic for boys and girls at St. Leonard's School.

A professional printer for over 16 years, Bierdemann is employed at Letterhead Press, where he has been serving as a project manager for six years.

 

Assistanch Coach
Julie (O'Connor) Wasielewski

Julie (O'Connor) Wasielewski, a 2001 MSOE Graduate, returns to the Raiders as an assistant to Coach Stikel, who she played for all three seasons at MSOE. Originally transferring to MSOE from UW-Whitewater in 1998, Wasielewski was a Lake Michigan Conference All-Conference selection in 1998 and 1999. She also was a three-time captain and most valuable player for the MSOE squad.

Wasielewski has her BS in Technical Communications and works at HNTB Corporation as a marketing coordinator. She and her husband, Jared, have a one-year old son, Joshua. They reside in Waukesha, Wis.

Assistant Coach
Theresa Narveson

Theresa Narveson joins the MSOE coaching staff as a first year assistant. Narveson is arguably the best passer ever to don a Raider's uniform. Completing her four -year career last year, Narveson owns the all-time career record in digs, 2,081. Narveson, who has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering works for Brady Corporation in Milwaukee, Wis.

Wasielewski has her BS in Technical Communications and works at HNTB Corporation as a Marketing Coordinator. She and her husband, Jared, have a one-year old son, Joshua. They reside in Waukesha, Wis.
