Coaches

Head Coach Rolf Zersen
Rolf Zersen
Rolf Zersen is in his seventh season as head coach of the MSOE women's soccer program. No stranger to MSOE, Zersen served as the men's assistant coach from 2001-2004.

The former assistant coach of Concordia University-Texas, Zersen formerly played competitive soccer with the Milwaukee Bavarians. As a collegiate player at Concordia-Wisconsin, Zersen was a three-year starter, captain and an All-Lake Michigan Conference selection as a senior. He was coach by MSOE Athletic Director Dan Harris at Concordia.

Zersen has a bachelor's degree in history from Concordia University Wisconsin and is the head of the history department at Milwaukee Lutheran High School. Zersen's coaching experience includes serving as head coach of the girl's soccer team at Milwaukee Lutheran and the boy's junior varsity program at Germantown High School.

Rolf and his wife, Leslie, have two children, Olivia and Aiden.

Assistant Coach Adam Frey

Adam Frey is in his third season with the MSOE coaching staff. Frey's coaching experience includes time at Palmyra-Eagle High School and East Troy High School. While an assistant coach for the Palmyra-Eagle varsity girls soccer team, his squad qualified for state in 2008 and was the sectional runner-up in 2009. He received a national diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in 2007.  Currently, Coach Frey is the Head Coach at Pius High School. 

Frey minored in coaching at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he earned his degree in physical education. Frey played four years of soccer at Sauk Prairie High School.
