Cayo selected as NAC Student-Athlete of the Week

Senior center Carol Cayo has been named Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for women's basketball. Cayo had double-doubles in MSOE's wins against Carroll and Dominican.
Against the Pioneers, she had 27 points and ten rebounds as well as two blocks, two assists and two steals. In the 48-46 win over the Stars, Cayo put in 28 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and blocked two shots. She played 40 minutes in both games and was a combined 24-35 (66%) from the field.
Two NAC games are on the slate this week for the Raiders. MSOE visits Benedictine Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Lisle, Ill. The Raiders host Maranatha Baptist Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Kern Center.
