MSOE Senior 133 pound wrestler Austin Binish will try to follow in other MSOE wrestlers footsteps and become the school’s next NCAA All-American. Binish (24-7) starts his journey at the NCAA Wrestling Championships this morning as he will face seventh seed Grant Sutter (18-3) of Wisconsin Whitewater in his first bout of the tourney.
For Binish to become an All-American he must finish in the top eight places to achieve that feat. He will be in a bracket with 17 others in his weight class, vying for the title.
Recently, The Door County Advocate ran a great article on him along with great comments by one of MSOE’s finest and veteran coaches, Kevin Morin.
