Raiders Sweep Bucs on Parent's Day

Milwaukee, Wis. --In front of a Parent’s day crowd, the Raiders picked up a three-set sweep of non-conference foe Beloit Bucs in the MSOE Invite on Saturday afternoon in the Kern Center Arena. Stephaine Hasler (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./Sheboygan Falls) led the Raiders in digs and kills with eleven and nine, respectively.
Offensively for the Raiders, Hasler had help from freshman Leah Hendricks (De Pere, Wis./De Pere) who hit .357, collecting eight kills for the match. Lynnsey LeCount (Racine, Wis./St. Catherines) added six kills, a .250 hitting percentage and nine digs to the Raiders match totals.
Defensively, Kasey Mylin (Milton, Wis./Milton) came up with one solo block and four block assists to lead all blockers for the match. Ali Borelli (Manhattan, Ill./Peotone) led all players with 19 assists.
The Raiders (2-9, 0-2 Northern Athletics Conference) travel to River Forest, Ill. to face Concordia-Chicago (3-8, 1-2 NAC) in a conference tilt. The first set starts at 7:00 p.m.
