Raiders taken down by Lakeland in road game

Three MSOE men's basketball players were in double figures in Lakeland 95-62 victory over the Raiders. MSOE was lead in scoring by freshman forward Nathan Verdun who had 12 points off the bench.
Junior forward Victor Bande put in 11 points and had seven rebounds. Sophomore guard John Cording logged ten points and dished out four assists.
The Raiders were within three at 28-25 with 5:27 left in the first half but the Muskies ended the half on a 14-2 run to take a 15-point lead at the break. MSOE could only get the Lakeland lead down to 11 in the final 20 minutes.
This Tuesday, the Raiders (8-11, 6-5 NAC) will head to Illinois to play Aurora at 7 p.m.
