MSOE women's basketball defeated in battle of division leaders

In a battle of the top teams from the North and South Divisions of the Northern Athletics Conference, the Raiders fell to Wisconsin Lutheran 64-51 Saturday afternoon at the Kern Center in Milwaukee. Freshman forward Bre'Ana Strong scored a career-high 16 points for MSOE.
Strong went 6-6 from the field including 4-4 from three-point range. Senior center Carol Cayo had 15 points, grabbed eight rebounds, dished out eight assists and blocked three shots.
MSOE led by as many as six points in the first half and had a 27-26 advantage at the half. The Warriors started the second half on a 10-2 run. Later, Wisconsin Lutheran had a 14-2 run to put the Warriors up by 15 with 5:58 left.
The Raiders (13-7, 10-4 NAC) play at Aurora Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
