Zachman places second at Benedictine Invite

The MSOE men's golf team finished sixth at the Benedictine Invite Sunday in West Chicago, Ill. at St. Andrew Golf and C.C. Senior Dane Zachman placed second at the event as he was one stroke off the top finisher. Zachman carded an even-par 72 on the day. Carthage had the low team score at 299 while the Raiders were at 313.
Freshman Colin Winistorfer had a 78 to tie for 23rd place. Winistorfer shot a 35 on the front nine. Sophomore Scott Loftus finished in a tie for 51st as he ended up with a 81. Sophomore Zachary Teague was one shot behind while junior Dan Wagner garnered an 85.
The Raiders will compete in the Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Collegiate starting Sunday, Sept. 25 in Eau Claire, Wis.
