Axt's four goals lead the way for Raiders

Senior Jessica Axt scored four times as the MSOE women's soccer team shut out Ripon 6-0 Thursday night at Time Warner Cable Stadium in Milwaukee. Sophomores Maureen Thompson and Paula Bohl also found the back of the net for MSOE.
Axt scored three goals in the first twenty minutes of the match. The first two goals were assisted by Bohl while the third was set up by senior Jamie Janczak. Thompson's unassisted goal was scored in the 43rd minute. Janczak assisted Bohl's fourth goal four minutes into the second half. The Raiders finished their scoring with a Bohl goal from freshman Gretchen Grams.
Junior Emma Lumpe and freshman Emily Jakubiak (three saves) split time in net for the MSOE shutout. The Raiders out shot the Red Hawks 23-12. MSOE (3-1, 1-0 NAC) is back in NAC action Wednesday night against Marian at home.
