MSOE men's tennis picks up two dual victories

The MSOE men's tennis squad swept a pair of Northern Athletic Conference duals Saturday in Illinois. The Raiders started the day with a 6-3 victory over Concordia-Chicago then defeated Dominican 7-2.
In singles competition against the Cougars, MSOE got victories from seniors Juan Montenegro and Jeff Scarpelli, sophomore Eric Klamrowski and freshmen Zachary Dam and Matthew Slaughter. In doubles, Dam and Slaughter teamed up for a 8-0 win at the No. 3 spot.
Against the Stars, Montenegro, Klamrowski, Scarpelli, Dam and freshman Andrew Kosasih all won in singles. Scarpelli and Nick Matsuura won at No. 2 doubles while Dam and Slaughter were victorious at No. 3.
The Raiders host Lakeland Wednesday at McKinley Park at 4 p.m.
