Men's Soccer downs Eagles in NAC first round  showdown

MSOE held off an early score by Edgewood and went on to a 3-1 win over the Eagles in a Northern Athletics Conference first round tilt.

The Edgewood Eagles came out of the gates and scored first on an Andrew Arit goal off a Kelmed Isaj pass at the 13 minute mark. The Raiders answered at 19:42, when freshman forward Logan Andryk scored off a penalty kick to tie the game.

MSOE scored a second goal at 29:59, off a Jordan Werner goal, assisted by Noah Corbeil-Wild. With just minutes remaining in the game, Drew Porter added a goal thanks to a Patrick Gathof pass to seal the 3-1 victory for the Raiders.

MSOE continues in their quest for a NAC title as they faced national power and number one seed Dominican University in River Forest Ill. on Wednesday, October 31. Game is set for a 1:30p.m. start.
