Women’s Soccer tie Trine, win Comet Classic

Olivet, Mich. -- The MSOE Raiders fought back from an early 1-0 deficit to tie the game 1-1 against Trine and claim the Comet Classic tournament title. The Raiders lone goal was at the 31 minute mark, Caitlyn Liddiard’s (Waukesha, Wis./ South HS) first ever goal off a pass from Paula Bohl (Muskego, Wis./ Muskego). Emma Lumpe (Lawrence, Kan. /Lawrence) had four saves going the full 110 minutes.The Raiders travel to River Forest, Ill. for their first Northern Athletics Conference contest of the season. MSOE take on Concordia-Chicago on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. The game time is a 4:00 p.m. start.
