The Flood Gates Open After the Rain Stops

Over the past three days, MSOE Baseball has struck gold. It all started in Game 2 against Marian when MSOE closed out a tight game 9-7. Since then, MSOE has outscored their opponents 33-6 in four games. Coach Doering said, "the guys are really swinging well". In the most recent games against MBBC, Dave Miklosi went 4 for 5 with 3 RBI's. Derek Jordan was 3 for 6 and Tyler Magyar was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's. In the second game against MBBC, Tyler Doyle went 3 for 4 (2 RBI's, 2 runs scored), Jake Roberts went 2 for 5 (2 RBI's) and Max Poeske was 2 for 3 and scored 2 runs. Hitting is great, but pitching can decide games. Key efforts were recorded by Dave Miklosi, who pitched 6 shut-out innings. Zach Almberg added a scoreless inning to seal the victory in 7 innings.
Next up is Lawrence University, Appleton (May 1st). The first pitch is at 2:30pm.
