Krupa nets OT winner for No. 11 MSOE hockey against Saint John's

Senior forward Todd Krupa scored an overtime goal as the No. 11 Raiders defeated Saint John's Friday night in a non-conference game in St. Cloud, Minn. Krupa's game-winner came at the 1:26 mark of overtime and was assisted by freshman forward Josh Keizer and junior forward Bradley Tierney.
Sophomore forward West Bauman started the scoring for MSOE at the 8:42 mark of the first period with a goal assisted by freshman forward Cole Gibson and Krupa. After the Johnnies tied the game in the second period, junior forward Jordan Keizer took the lead back for the Raiders with his Division III best fourth short-handed goal of the year. Once again, Saint John's tied the game, this time in the third period at the 9:22 mark but the Raiders finished off the game in overtime.
Senior goalie Connor Toomey made 24 saves to pick up the win. MSOE (9-2, 7-1 MCHA) faces Bethel Saturday at 4 p.m. in St. Paul, Minn.
