No. 14 MSOE hockey defeats No. 6 Adrian 6-1

The No. 14 Raiders took down No. 6 Adrian 6-1 Saturday afternoon in Michigan. Junior forward Jordan Keizer and freshman forward Josh Keizer each scored two goals for MSOE.
Jordan Keizer started the scoring at the 13:23 mark of the first period with a power play goal from sophomore defensemen Devin Schmitt and Michael Thompson. Josh Keizer made it 2-0 with a tally from Jordan Keizer and junior forward Bradley Tierney at the 51-second mark of the second. After a goal from Adrian, freshman forward Kevin LoGiudice got a goal that was set up by junior forward Kevin Medina and junior defenseman Carl Lindblad. With 37 seconds left in the second, sophomore forward West Bauman found the back of the net on a power play from Tierney.
In the third period, Jordan Keizer scored for the second time from Josh Keizer and junior defenseman Nathan Brunk. Josh Keizer finished the scoring with a empty net short-handed goal that was unassisted. Senior goalie Connor Toomey made 31 saves in the win for the Raiders.
MSOE (13-5-1, 10-3-1 MCHA) hosts Concordia-Wisconsin Friday night at the Kern Center.
