Ott named NAC Women's Basketball Coach of the Year

MILWAUKEE - Raiders coach Jessica Ott was selected as Northern Athletics Conference Coach of the Year. During the 2011-12 season, the MSOE women’s basketball team won a school record 17 games for the season and a program record 11 conference victories. MSOE advanced to the NAC Semifinals where they fell to Dominican 76-71. To reach the semis, the Raiders defeated Concordia-Chicago 59-40 in the NAC Quarterfinals to earn their first NAC Tournament victory.
This is the second time that Ott has earned this honor. Ott was named NAC Coach of the Year during the 2008-09 season when the Raiders went 13-13 for their first .500 overall record in the program’s history. This was Ott’s tenth season as head coach at MSOE and 11th season as a member of the Raiders’ coaching staff.
