MSOE women's volleyball takes out Alverno in four sets

Juniors Stephanie Hasler and Julie Windish each had 16 kills as the Raiders beat Alverno 3-1 (24-26, 25-22, 25-11, 25-15) Friday night in Milwaukee. Hasler hit .294 on the night and also had seven digs while Windish logged four service aces. Senior Kayla Edler recorded a double double with ten kills and 12 digs. Edler had a hitting percentage of .350 in the match.
Freshman setter Martha Savory ended up with a career-high 45 assists for MSOE against the Inferno. Two other Raiders were in double figures for digs including senior Kathleen Collingbourne who led all players with 26 digs. Also, freshman Ali LoBue had 14 digs. Senior Kaylie Lenz contributed eight kills, five digs and three service aces.
MSOE (7-12, 1-3 NAC) hosts Benedictine Tuesday at the Kern Center.
