Raiders on top after first day of NAC Championship

The MSOE men's golf team stands in first place after the first day of the Northern Athletics Conference Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wis. Senior Dane Zachman leads all golfers after he carded a 74 on Sunday. Freshman Colin Winistorfer is two strokes behind Zachman in second place. The Raiders lead Edgewood by two strokes.
Junior Zachary Teague shot an 81 and is tied for 12th place. Freshman Edward Hinsa is two shots behind Teague in 19th place. Sophomore Scott Loftus is in 35th place after a 91 on the day.
The second round of the event will begin Monday morning.
