Raider rowers compete at Midwinter Meltdown in Madison

The MSOE rowing team was in Madison, Wis. Saturday at the Princeton Club to take part in the Midwinter Meltdown. The indoor rowing competition included numerous events and teams such as the University of Iowa, St. Cloud State and the Milwaukee Rowing Club.
Sophomore Jonathan Allen won the lightweight open men 2K event with a time of 6:43.6. As a team, the Raiders won the open men's team 500M with Allen and fellow sophomores Devin Dolby, Michael Richter and Matthew Foster taking part at 1:30.5. Richter and senior David Taylor won the double pair MM 1K event with a mark of 6:06.9.
