No. 14 MSOE hockey finishes weekend sweep of Lawrence

Senior goaltender Connor Toomey made 41 saves and four different Raiders scored as No. 14 MSOE beat Lawrence 4-2 at the Kern Center to complete the weekend sweep of the Vikings in MCHA action.
Lawrence's Derek Brickan scored the first goal of the game at the 14:37 mark of the first period. Junior forward Kevin Medina tied the game in the second period with assists from freshman forward Kevin LoGiudice and sophomore forward Ben Lauder. Lawrence went up 2-1 in the second with a tally by Reijo Wahlin. About two minutes later, senior forward Todd Krupa answered for the Raiders to tie the contest. It was set up by sophomore forward West Bauman and freshman defenseman Logan Bauman.
In the third, junior forward Jordan Keizer netted a goal to put MSOE up for good at the 1:06 mark. Junior forward Bradley Tierney made it 4-2 with less than two minutes left in the game. Sophomore defenseman Michael Thompson and freshman forward Josh Keizer had the assists.
The Raiders (12-5, 9-3 MCHA) head to Michigan next weekend to face Adrian.
