Zachman in first after second round of NAC Championship

Senior Dane Zachman stands in first place after the second round of the Northern Athletics Conference Championship for men's golf at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wis. The Raiders are in second as a team behind Edgewood. The final two rounds to determine the NAC Champion and the conference's automatic qualifier for the NCAA Championships will take place in April.
Zachman shot a 77 in the second round and leads teammate Colin Winistorfer and Andrew Cobb of Edgewood by one stroke. Winistorfer carded a 78 during this second round. Sophomore Scott Loftus bettered his score by 11 strokes with a second round 80 to move into a tie for 26th place along with junior Zachary Teague. Freshman Edward Hinsa is in 38th place.
