Grousnick earns All-NAC honors at NAC Championships


The MSOE men's cross country team placed fourth at the NAC Championships Saturday at the Dannehl National Cross Country Course on the UW-Parkside Campus. The Raiders' top finisher was sophomore Steven Grousnick who came in tenth place with a time of 27:38.2 in the 8K event. For his finish, Grousnick garnered All-NAC status.

Next for MSOE was sophomore Trevor Koziczkowski who placed 17th with a mark of 28:08.2. Just outside of the top 20 was freshman Brian Janus in 21st at 28:17.0. Sophomore Terrence Norris finished 26th with a time of 28:28.1. Koziczkowski, Janus and Norris each earned NAC Honorable Mention honors for their performances.

Seniors Keen Unangst (28:35.5) and Matt Coursey (28:36.1) placed right next to each other in 30th and 31st. Freshman Jeffrey Sparks (28:48.7) was in 34th while junior Jake Schneider (29:00.5) came in 38th and junior Ben Peterson (29:05.6) was 40th.

Schneider was named to the NAC All-Sportsmanship Team. The Raiders head to Rock Island, Ill. for the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Saturday, Nov. 12.
